Svens Telemaque courageously left behind a life of drug trafficking, embracing a new beginning. Now, as a social entrepreneur, author, and speaker, he empowers audiences to confront and conquer adversity with hope. He reminds us that "Broken Crayons Still Color"; even in our brokenness, we possess the ability to create something beautiful.
In 2020, Svens joined Desta Black Community Network as a Support Services Counselor. In this role, he closely assists incarcerated individuals, those reintegrating into society, and families affected by incarceration. Working alongside stakeholders at the national, provincial, and municipal levels, Svens advocates for policy changes and defends the rights of black men within the criminal justice system. His goal is to reduce recidivism rates, raise public awareness about the realities of incarceration, and equip participants with modern counseling techniques to heal and achieve personal success.
Svens' own journey of resilience serves as a powerful inspiration. His message of hope resonates deeply, motivating others to confront their own challenges and embrace personal growth.
